Boring
Nothing to report. Bored out of my brain at work at the moment. Nothing new doing, except for one project that is waiting on other people (there is no "us and them", there is no "us and them"...).
Leaving only boring stuff, or things that I can really only do after hours on servers. And was patch Tuesday this week, and I'm sure I haven't finished patching servers from *last* month yet.
*sigh*
Wow,...I guess that philosophy of, "there is no us and them" has no geographical boundaries. Our application support folks have their own methodologies about how to do things. (Most of which, is wasting time with meetings about prior meetings to discuss the things which need to be covered in the next meeting) I'm on the east coast of the US, and I have been told repeatedly that "there is no us and them", by my Systems Manager (who incidentally is now coming around to "our" way of thinking.) I've always been a "let's just get it done" and move on to the next project. I guess lunacy knwos no bounds. *sigh* Oh well,....moving right along...
