I think that some of the problem might be that the tanks they're in have been running for 3-4 years now, and have been accumulating gunk in all that time. I think I need to pull the tanks apart, wash off all the plants, thoroughly rinse out all the gravel and properly clean the filters. Angel fish always break your heart, because the longer you have them the bigger and more beautiful they get. Nasty personalities for just graceful looking creatures, though.
