Cyan Magenta

I had to have a giggle over today's User Friendly.

Because indeed, this was how I started with colour screens. You could have black, white, magenta and cyan, or black, yellow, green and red, depending on what colour mode you were in. Games in the late eighties often started with "do you have a colour monitor?"

So, six years before I ever saw my first scanner, I was doing drawings in paint programs. In black, white, cyan and magenta in fact. Admittedly I actually only have two with that few colours, most images I drew had a whopping 16 colours!

This was one I prepared earlier. It's dated 20.12.89. I'll let you pick the movie it's referencing :)

Well the thought of sausages passed my mind, but I knew *noone* would get it, and then I'd have to explain it, and then it really wouldn't be funny.... ;) But know that I laughed and laughed and you definitely won :)

Welcome to my little piece of the Blogosphere!

I am a recent Canberra resident after having spent the first 34 years of my life in Sydney. I am married to my beautiful husband Stu, and we live with several computers and a lot of fish.
