An interesting note is that you can't put different carrier sims into other blackberrys and have them work. Each handset is registered with RIM to the carrier they're with. As we discovered today when we tried to put Jim's Telstra sim into a Vodafone registered blackberry...

Looks a wee bit on the large size for my liking, though having a full Qwerty keyboard would be handy. Don't really use email or calendaring enough to warrant something like that though.

The qwerty keyboard completely and utterly rocks. Makes sending smses entirely too easy - must watch that so I don't run up a huge bill :) I use the calendar now as my main calendaring tool. And nothing beats being able to send emails to Stu from in bed, or from a highway rest stop, or wherever.. heh :)

My new toy is to be delivered tomorrow. It is a Nokia 9300. I can't wait for the 9300i, which has WLAN, because some low life scum stole my 6630 in Brisbane airport from the seat next to me. Never going there again.

Always ask at the dealer if the handset is locked to the network. It costs to have it unlocked.

Now we all have Spiffy New phones. All you need to do know is buy a car.... Dave and I ended up with matching cars. OOPS Tacky!!
