Gingerbread House Night
Had our church Gingerbread House night tonight. As always was a lot of fun, and was good to catch up with Cynthia.
I decided to "render" my house this year. It's a bit messier to put together, but a bit easier to stick lollies on. My actual design was somewhat boring (as I'm not creative at all), but I did make my house "stand out from the crowd" so to speak, by attaching battery powered led lights to the eaves. And the effect was, well, to put it mildly, spectacular. Looks like the thing had festoon lights on it. Very very cool.

Looks great! What is your church going to do with all of them?

November 26, 2005 3:55 AMWell people all take them home to have over Christmas.
I actually got the lights in Teks the other day, just because they looked cool and at $2 I figured what the heck. Then yesterday morning the idea hit me to use them on my house. I was going to attach them at the top of the roof and cover over with icing, but Luc suggested squishing them under the eaves, which I think worked much more betterer.
