I love you Dave! :)
Honestly you are the sweetest guy! :)
OK so I didn't actually use the lego you sent, but it will go into my greater mosaic supply. But the idea was there, and while I should have been packing, I did this:

Waaahhh! It's perfect! Glad you can make use of the Lego.
Packing? Where are we off to?
May 28, 2005 9:31 AMHehe!
:D
May 28, 2005 10:31 AMWOW!
That is fantastic.
I haven't had the patience for legos since my dog knocked over my three story fully furnished lego house.
May 28, 2005 12:25 PMWow, now that's really cool!
May 28, 2005 12:53 PMDang, it's perfect. Unbelievably good.
May 28, 2005 1:13 PMpacking. schmacking. Make art instead!
May 28, 2005 6:45 PMHow cool is that?
<sigh>
At least it is a good photo of you....who is the woman behind you?
May 28, 2005 8:33 PMWow! that is the coolest!
How many legos does it take to make a Dave?
May 28, 2005 11:29 PMVery cool.
May 29, 2005 11:02 AMThat's pretty cool. Nice job Kazza...
May 30, 2005 1:54 AMgosh! all the gravatars I'm used to seeing in Dave's blog are suddenly in mine! Spooky! :)
There are 2304 1x1 lego plates on a 48x48 board. There are only four colours - very light grey, light grey, dark grey and black. Took about two hours to click it all into place, although I did miscalculate the starting position because I originally was going to do it on a 50x50 board, so had to remove about 15 min worth of work. Oops.
May 30, 2005 5:53 PMTWO HOURS!?!
But it was so totally worth it though! :-)
May 30, 2005 10:01 PMCreating your lovely face in lego? Totally! ;)
May 31, 2005 7:42 PMTwo hours is all. At the end of two hours I'd still be agonizing over where to put the first Lego. And then I'd have to pull it up and reposition it -- several times.
Very nice.
June 1, 2005 2:51 AMHa that is soooo cool!
