Forgive forgive forgive

My problem is definitely one of forgiveness. To forgive someone is actually very liberating. It means you can start afresh and don't have to hold up the whole act of holding a grudge. I've always had problems with forgiveness. Usually with people that give me suicidal thoughts. For some reason I can't get past those. But I have two big opportunities, and a myriad of little ones, in the near future to practise forgiveness. I'll try it out and let everyone know how it goes.

i read somewhere that its all about images. have a mental image, like a photograph or something, then imagine he colour draining out to black and white, then imagine the image moving away from you and turn up the brightness so that it fades to white. you have to keep practicing that. its not easy, but it works!

forgiveness is the hardest thing in my life, i agree there is a great deal of freedom in forgiveness. Anger and resentment are just a bag of bricks, all you have to do is set it down.

When people piss you off to the extent of thinking about suicide, kill them. It's a great form of stress relief, and even solves the problem of them upsetting you. :)
